Before you buy, bid, or ship:  
Contact us FIRST using the form below to complete an FFL transfer contract.

1. Handguns are on the California Roster of Certified Handguns and are legal for transfer.

2. Long guns must NOT be configured as an “Assault weapon” as defined per PC 30515 or designated as such per PC 30510. They must be CA-legal upon arrival; we will not modify or alter items.

3. The item is coming from a Federal Firearms Licensee dealer, along with a California Firearm Licensee Check (CFLC) Shipment Approval number. Any firearm received without an approval number will be returned at the buyer’s expense including inbound AND outbound transfer fees.

4. We do not receive ammunition for transfer.

5. We will discourage any shipments via FedEx GROUND due to delivery problems. Please use UPS or FedEx EXPRESS.  

6. Provide us with a tracking number ASAP.

Transfer Fees

• $50.00 transfer fee per item + $37.19 DROS fee when a transfer contract is signed before shipment.

• $100.00 transfer fee per item + $37.19 DROS fee if a transfer contract is not signed before shipment.

• All fees apply to inbound and/or outbound transfers. No exceptions will be made.

 

We may be required to collect 9% sales tax if it was not collected by the Seller. Bring a copy of your sales receipt showing that sales tax was collected.

Private Party Transfer
A Private Party Transfer (PPT) is a transaction between two separate individuals residing in CA with a valid CA Driver's License or Identification Card. Both the buyer and seller MUST be present at the same time for this type of transaction.

• DROS $37.19

• Dealer fee $10 per firearm

• Generally, a PPT is face-to-face and both parties are California residents.

• Online purchases are not considered a PPT.

Payments
We accept cash, checks, and money orders. There is a $40 return check fee. We also accept all major credit cards and Venmo. Electronic payments will have a 3% service fee added to the total charged.

If your DROS is denied for any reason, FCP will provide you with a General Notice of Firearm Prohibitions and Power of Attorney for Firearms Relinquishment, Sale, or Transfer for Storage (DOJ form BOF 110)

Ammunition Transfers: We do not receive ammunition transfers.

Storage

Items in our inventory over 30 days with no active DROS pending will be charged $30 per item per month.

Items stored under court/restraining order will be $60 per item per month, not including DROS fees.
